I love not man the less, but nature more

There is a pleasure in the pathless woods,
There is a rapture on the lonely shore,
There is society, where none intrudes,
By the deep sea, and music in its roar:
I love not man the less, but nature more,
From these our interviews, in which I steal
From all I may be, or have been before,
To mingle with the universe, and feel
What I can ne’er express, yet cannot all conceal.

-George Gordon Byron

Isn’t he right? There is a pleasure in this.

We had this lovely weekend trip a couple of weeks ago. This is a northern coastal place in Istanbul. It was early in the morning and the campers around were still sleeping.  We just sat and watched the sea, the birds flying high and the warm sand underneath us.

I couldn’t help but take some photos.

I wish you a lovely weekend…
